Union Strengthens Its Technical Staff with the Addition of French Analyst Cyril Douhel
The management of the Saudi Union Club has finalized its decision regarding the enhancement of the team's technical staff by signing French analyst Cyril Douhel as a data and video analyst, starting from the 2025-2026 season.
According to what was reported by the "Al-Riyadiah" newspaper, Douhel's addition came based on a direct recommendation from French coach Laurent Blanc, as part of a comprehensive plan to develop the team's technical performance.
Cyril Douhel has extensive experience in the field of technical analysis, having started his career at Bordeaux in France in 2000 and continued there until 2020 as a certified performance analyst.
He has also previously collaborated with Laurent Blanc during his coaching period at Bordeaux, reflecting the technical harmony between the two parties and providing the staff with additional confidence as preparations for the new season begin.
After his long experience with Bordeaux, Douhel moved to work with Stade de Reims in France from 2020 to 2022, before finally arriving at the Union with new ambitions.
