Imam Ashour, the star of Al Ahly, sent a message to the red fans after two years of joining the team.
Ashour said via Instagram: "Success does not stop here after two years, but grows from here."
In another context, Mohamed Youssef, the sports director at Al Ahly, confirmed the club's intention to extend Ashour's contract.
Mohamed Youssef said on Al Ahly Channel: "I spoke to Imam and sat with him a while ago, and I informed him that we will extend his contract, and in the coming days we will finalize the matter, and there is no problem in this regard."
He continued: "Al Ahly never delays for its sons, and that's why I took this initiative, because Imam is one of the distinguished players who serve the team and gives it weight in the attacking third."
