Saudi Arabia Prepares Astronomical Offer for Vinicius

Thursday 17-07-2025
Vinicius Junior and Real Madrid are still in a state of complete calm regarding the future of the Brazilian star, despite not having signed any new contract yet, knowing that Vinicius's contract with the royal club expires in 2027.

Saudi league officials had anticipated last April that Vinicius would extend his contract before the opening of the transfer market this summer, but the delay in announcing the renewal encouraged them to continue monitoring the situation closely, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

According to the source, discussions with the player regarding a move to the Saudi league have been ongoing for more than a year, as senior Saudi officials seek to choose the right timing to make an official offer, with a clear plan aimed at signing Vinicius within the next three years.

The source added that Saudi officials are ready to make a historic offer worth nearly 350 million euros (about 302 million pounds), surpassing the record set by Paris Saint-Germain for Neymar's transfer from Barcelona in 2017 (222 million euros).

The source concluded that the Saudi offer for Vinicius includes a five-year contract, with a total value reaching one billion euros including bonuses and incentives, noting that Saudi officials want to sign Vinicius for Al-Ahli.
