Manchester City Football Club has officially announced its contract with Norwegian Sefiri Niban, a midfielder from Rosenborg, during the ongoing summer transfer window, as part of strengthening its squad in preparation for the new season.

The club clarified in a statement on its official website that Niban has signed a five-year contract, extending until the summer of 2030, making him the fifth signing for the team this summer, following the acquisitions of Ryan Ait Nouri, Ryan Cherki, Tijani Reijnders, and goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli.

Niban, who is 19 years old, is considered one of the most promising talents in Norway, having made his debut with Rosenborg at just 15 years old. Since then, he has participated in 70 matches with the first team, scoring 14 goals and assisting 11 others.

The player has also represented Norway at various age levels, from the under-15 team to the under-21 team, continuing his international career in parallel with his anticipated move to the Premier League.
