The Italian club AC Milan has officially started its steps to contract the left-back Pervis Estupinan, a player from Brighton & Hove Albion, during the current summer transfer window, as part of its efforts to compensate for the departure of French star Theo Hernandez to Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia.

According to the website "Football Italia", Milan has made an initial offer to Brighton worth 14 million euros plus financial incentives, but the offer is still far from the demands of the English club, which signed the player in the summer of 2022 from Villarreal.

Estupinan, who is 27 years old, is one of Milan's main targets for the left-back position, after the position became vacant following Hernandez's sale. The Ecuadorian international participated in 36 matches with Brighton last season, scoring one goal and assisting another.

Milan is seeking to reach an agreement with Brighton as soon as possible to finalize the deal, given the team's need to strengthen this position before the start of the new season.
