Paris Saint-Germain Announces Its First Summer Signing
The French club Paris Saint-Germain announced its first signing in the current summer transfer market, following its participation in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, where it finished as runner-up after losing 3-0 to Chelsea in the final held in New Jersey, USA.
The Parisian club revealed on its official website the signing of young goalkeeper Renato Marin, an Italian of Brazilian descent, with a contract extending until the summer of 2030.
Marin, who is 19 years old, joins Paris Saint-Germain from AS Roma, after spending three seasons among the youth and senior teams in the Italian capital, where he played 11 matches with the first team last season, conceding 13 goals and saving 2.
It is worth mentioning that Marin began his career at São Paulo FC in Brazil before moving to Roma, and he is now continuing his professional journey with the French league champions in a new experience at the European summit.
