
Zamalek Signs Moroccan Abd El Hamid Maali from Ittihad Tanger
The Egyptian club Zamalek has finalized the deal to sign young Moroccan winger Abd El Hamid Maali from Ittihad Tanger, after negotiations that lasted for weeks between the two parties.
Reports confirmed that the deal was completed officially, as Maali signed a four-year contract with Zamalek for a fee of $600,000, which Ittihad Tanger received for the remaining part of the player's contract.
Abd El Hamid Maali, who is 19 years old, is considered one of the most promising talents in the Moroccan professional league, having played 30 matches last season with the 'Knight of the Coast', during which he provided two assists and caught attention with his skills on the left flank.
Maali is expected to join Zamalek's training sessions in the coming days, in preparation for his involvement in the team's preparations for the new season under the guidance of the new Belgian coach Yannick Ferrera.
