The British newspaper "The Sun" reported that Chelsea is targeting the signing of Aston Villa striker Morgan Rogers, in a move that could revive memories of the golden generation of English football led by John Terry and Frank Lampard.

The newspaper explained that Rogers' addition would enhance the English identity of the team, which currently includes several local talents such as Cole Palmer, Reece James, Levi Colwill, Noni Madueke, and Trevoh Chalobah, in addition to summer signings Liam Delap and Jamie Gittens.
