Al-Ahly Modifies Imam Ashour's Contract
Media figure Khaled El-Ghandour, former Zamalek star, revealed that Al-Ahly has modified Imam Ashour's contract.
El-Ghandour stated via Facebook: "Al-Ahly extends Imam Ashour's contract for two years and grants him, starting this season, the same amount as Trezeguet and Ben Sharqi, which is one and a half million dollars annually, while Zizo remains the highest contract in the team."
On another note, Captain Mohamed Youssef, the sports director at Al-Ahly club, after consulting with coach Jose Ribeiro, decided to exclude Wissam Abu Ali from the Al-Ahly delegation heading to Tunisia tomorrow, Friday, for a training camp scheduled from July 18 to 26.
Abu Ali missed Al-Ahly's training yesterday, Wednesday, and the therapeutic sessions without permission.
Wissam Abu Ali wishes to leave Al-Ahly following several attractive offers he has recently received.
