Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported via his official account on the 'X' platform that Nigerian Ademola Lookman has shown great enthusiasm for transferring to Inter Milan during the current summer transfer window, following new communications between the player and the club.

Romano clarified that Lookman has informed Atalanta's management of his clear desire to leave for Inter Milan, while the Italian club has begun preparing its first official offer to sign the player.

Romano indicated that Atalanta has set a single condition for agreeing to sell Lookman, which is to receive a financial compensation of no less than 40 million euros in exchange for parting with his services this summer.

It is worth noting that Lookman joined Atalanta in the summer of 2022 from RB Leipzig and has delivered remarkable performances with the team, contributing to 77 goals in 118 matches played with the team across various competitions.
