Yassin Marai, the new Al Ahly player, spoke about his joining Al Ahly coming from Pharco.

Marai said through the club's website and its official platforms: "Joining Al Ahly is a great honor and a step towards one of the most important dreams of my life. I am extremely happy that the dream has become a reality, and I thank the Al Ahly officials for their trust in my abilities, especially Captain Mohamed Youssef, the sports director, who was in constant communication with me, even during the team's participation in the FIFA Club World Cup, and his role in the negotiations continued until they were successfully completed. I hope to be worthy of this trust."

He explained: "Joining Al Ahly is a great responsibility, especially after being selected among many names that were nominated to join the team. This selection places me under a double responsibility and makes me fight to earn the trust of the coaching staff. Personally, I have a strong desire to prove myself and my worthiness for the opportunity I received, to achieve many championships, write history, and leave a strong mark with Al Ahly."

He added: "Al Ahly is the number 1 club in Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East, and joining it helps any player succeed, given the successful work system recognized by everyone, in addition to Al Ahly's history that speaks for itself. Since my first day on the Mokhtar El-Tetsh pitch, I felt the support and backing from everyone, which is well-known about Al Ahly, as well as the club's fans who strongly supported me after discussing joining the team."

Regarding the competition within the team, Marai said: "Undoubtedly, the competition is extremely tough, especially with the presence of big names that the team is filled with, confirming that all the players in the squad have the ability to participate in matches and join the national team, which distinguishes Al Ahly throughout its history, as it always includes the best in every position, which helps improve everyone's performance."

He concluded his remarks by thanking Al Ahly fans, affirming that he will fight and give everything he has to be an asset to the team and win championships with Al Ahly.
