Barcelona's announcement came via a video posted on its social media account "X", in a move that enhances the young player's value for the future of the Catalan club.
The Spanish star is set to sign his new contract today, which will extend until the summer of 2031, as he attended with his family to the club's offices to sign the contracts.
The signing ceremony will also be attended by Jorge Mendes, the player's agent, as well as Barcelona's president Joan Laporta, sporting director Deco, and some officials.
