Al-Hilal Moves to Renew Ruben Neves' Contract Before Free Agency Period
Wednesday 16-07-2025
The management of Al-Hilal Club has begun serious moves to extend the contract of Portuguese midfielder Ruben Neves, in a step aimed at securing his continuity within the ranks of the leader in the coming years.

Al-Hilal's move to renew Neves' contract comes to avoid him entering the free agency period in January 2026, as his current contract ends at the end of June of the same year, which grants him the right to sign with any other club without returning to the club.

The newspaper "Okaz" revealed that Italian coach Simone Inzaghi recommended the management expedite the resolution of Neves' file, due to his role as a key element in the team's system, especially after his remarkable performance last season.

The Portuguese player has shown outstanding levels since joining Al-Hilal and has directly contributed to the team's crowning of four titles, including the Roshan League and the King's Cup, in addition to his brilliance in the FIFA Club World Cup.

At the same time, Al-Hilal players are preparing to return to collective training in preparation for the Austria training camp for the 2025-2026 season, amidst great ambitions to continue dominating locally and continentally.
