The French newspaper L'Équipe reported that Moroccan international Azzedine Onahi has become an increasing source of annoyance for the management of Olympique Marseille due to his refusal of all offers he received during the current summer transfer window.

According to the same source, Onahi shows no desire to leave the club, despite the management's attempts to market him and persuade him to depart as part of a plan to restructure the team before the new season begins.

Marseille's management is looking to offload several players who are not in the technical staff's plans; however, Onahi's stubbornness and refusal to engage in any new project have disrupted part of this plan, causing a tense atmosphere within the club.
