Reports have revealed that the Italian duo, Juventus and Roma, have shown interest in signing Ivorian Frank Kessie, the midfield star of Al Ahly, during the current summer transfer window.

According to sources, Juventus is considering making an official offer that includes a swap deal, involving the transfer of Argentine Nico Gonzalez to Al Ahly in exchange for bringing Kessie to the ranks of the "Old Lady".

Al Ahly's management is closely monitoring the situation, especially given their need to bolster the attacking front after the recent departure of Brazilian star Roberto Firmino from the team.

Despite the enthusiasm from the Italian side, local media there believes that the deal may face significant difficulties, due to the high salary that Kessie earns with Al Ahly.
