Reports have revealed that English club Newcastle United is seeking to finalize a deal to sign French striker Hugo Ekitike for 100 million euros including incentives.

According to information from the German newspaper "Bild", the player only wishes to join Newcastle, despite interest from several clubs in signing him.

The newspaper added that Newcastle's management hopes to finalize the deal in the coming days as part of their efforts to strengthen the attacking line in preparation for the new season.

Liverpool is among the clubs interested in signing the young striker, but it seems that Newcastle is the closest to securing his services.

It is worth mentioning that Frankfurt rejected an offer from Newcastle yesterday worth 80 million euros for the 22-year-old striker.
