The Italian club AC Milan continues its efforts to strengthen its attacking line during the ongoing summer transfer window, as it has reopened channels of communication with French club Monaco to discuss the possibility of signing Swiss striker Breel Embolo.

Embolo, who is 27 years old, is of serious interest to Milan, especially with only one year left on his contract with Monaco. The player had a good 2024/2025 season, scoring 7 goals and providing 9 assists while wearing the French team's jersey.

According to media reports, Monaco is open to selling Embolo this summer, based on a friendly agreement made with the player a year ago. Turkish club Besiktas had previously come close to finalizing the deal for 15 million euros, before the player rejected the transfer.

Monaco insists on receiving 15 million euros as the value for the deal, which is the financial condition that Milan is well aware of before entering into decisive negotiations in the upcoming period.
