Consisao Sacrifices Part of His Dues to Facilitate Transfer to Juventus
Italian media reports revealed that Portuguese winger Francisco Consisao sacrificed part of his financial dues at Porto to finalize his permanent transfer to Juventus this summer.
Consisao shone last season with Juventus during his loan period from Porto, scoring 7 goals and providing 6 assists, prompting the Italian club to move for a permanent purchase.
According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', the 22-year-old player waived about 3 million euros, which represents part of the 20% he is entitled to from any future sale deal from Porto, to facilitate negotiations between the two clubs.
Juventus is set to pay a fixed amount ranging between 21 and 22 million euros, in addition to bonuses that could raise the total value of the deal to between 25 and 27 million euros to keep Consisao in their squad permanently.
