
Real Madrid Presents Carreras with Number 18
Real Madrid Club announced today, Tuesday, July 15, 2025, the introduction of Spanish defender Álvaro Carreras as a new player for the royal club with a contract extending for six upcoming seasons until the summer of 2031.
The signing ceremony took place in the meeting hall at the Real Madrid Sports City, attended by club president Florentino Pérez, who welcomed the young player and wished him success in his career with the royal team.
After the signing, Carreras received a miniature model of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, a commemorative watch, and a Real Madrid jersey bearing his name and the number 18.
The deal cost Real Madrid's coffers 50 million euros to be paid in installments.
