New Crisis Between Napoli and Galatasaray Brings Osimhen Closer to Al-Hilal
Tuesday 15-07-2025
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano dropped a surprise regarding the stalled negotiations between Italian club Napoli and Turkish club Galatasaray over the transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

According to Romano, the talks have stopped due to severe financial disagreements, as Napoli demands a payment of 40 million euros in cash, along with an additional 35 million to be paid in the summer of 2026.

Napoli also insists on including a clause that grants them a percentage of any future sale profits of Osimhen, which Galatasaray currently completely rejects.

In contrast, Galatasaray offers to pay the remaining amount – 35 million euros – but in installments extending until 2027, and firmly refuses to grant Napoli a future percentage from his sale.

Journalist Di Marzio also confirmed that Napoli has asked Galatasaray to provide confirmed bank guarantees, giving them a final deadline until Friday or Saturday to finalize the agreement.

If both parties fail to reach an agreement within the specified deadline, Napoli will immediately turn to another option, which is selling Osimhen to Saudi club Al-Hilal.
