Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported via his official account on the platform 'X' that AS Roma has made its first official offer to acquire Brazilian winger Wesley Franco, a player from Flamengo, during the current summer transfer window.

According to Di Marzio, Roma's offer amounted to 20 million euros plus some bonuses, in an attempt to persuade the Brazilian club to part with the 22-year-old young player.

Flamengo officially rejected the offer made by Roma, as they insist on receiving 25 million euros along with bonuses, in exchange for agreeing to sell Wesley this summer.

Roma continues its negotiations with Flamengo in an effort to bridge the gap and reach a final agreement regarding the deal, given the player's desire to pursue a professional experience in Europe.
