Officially.. Al-Gharafa Club Announces Contract with Haidar Obaid

Al-Gharafa Club, newly promoted to the Iraqi Stars League, has officially announced its contract with coach Haidar Obaid, the former coach of Al-Zawraa, to lead the team in its first season among the elite, in a move aimed at enhancing the chances and building on the great ambitions of the club's management and its fans.

The signing with Haidar Obaid came after the impressive performance he delivered with Al-Zawraa last season, where he oversaw the team in 17 matches, achieving 12 victories, drawing in one match, and suffering 4 losses, scoring 30 goals, and conceding only 12 goals, while keeping a clean sheet in 9 matches, statistics that reflected his clear tactical imprint and ability to create balance on the field.

The management of Al-Gharafa sees Obaid as the right man to lead its new project in the Stars League, especially since the team is looking to establish its presence in the competition and not to settle for a temporary guest role.
