Vinicius Plans to Leave Real Madrid for Free
Journalist Pepe Alvarez revealed a surprising development regarding the future of Real Madrid star and Brazilian international Vinicius Junior, whose contract with the royal club ends in the summer of 2027.
Alvarez stated on his account on the platform X: "Despite recent rumors about the lack of an agreement between Vinicius Junior and Real Madrid, the confirmed truth within the club indicates that the player had reached a full agreement to renew his contract, and Vinicius has given his word to president Florentino Perez and the club's scouting chief, Joni Calafat, that he will sign the new contract after the end of the Club World Cup."
He added: "In recent hours, reports have emerged indicating that the Brazilian star informed the management of his desire to become a free agent at the end of his current contract, which is a clear reversal of his previous promise."
He concluded: "If Vinicius insists on this position, it will be a difficult situation within the club, especially regarding his relationship with the president and the sports staff, as in Real Madrid, keeping one's word and personal commitment are principles that the club does not compromise on."
Meanwhile, reliable journalist Mario Cortegana stated that Vinicius has requested €30 million annually in his new contract, but the royal club categorically refuses this matter.
