Officially.. Real Madrid Announces Signing of Carreras
The Spanish club Real Madrid announced in an official statement today, Monday, the signing of left-back Álvaro Carreras from Benfica, to strengthen its squad.
The club said: "Real Madrid and Benfica have reached an agreement for the transfer of player Álvaro Carreras, who will remain linked to our club for the next six seasons, until June 30, 2031."
It added: "Álvaro Carreras will be presented tomorrow, Tuesday, at 1 PM, in the city of Real Madrid."
It continued: "The president of Real Madrid, Florentino Pérez, will receive Carreras to attend the official signing ceremony that will link our new player to the club for the next six seasons."
It concluded: "After the presentation, Carreras will speak to the media in the press room in the city of Real Madrid."
