The end of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final, which brought together Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, witnessed heated events following the final whistle, as a violent altercation broke out between Paris coach Luis Enrique and Chelsea player Joao Pedro.

Luis Enrique attacked Joao Pedro, who fell to the ground, before PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi also joined the fray, amid intense tension between players from both teams on the pitch.

Some officials intervened to calm the atmosphere and break up the altercation, while Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca also stepped in to resolve the conflict between the players of both teams, urging his players to end the disagreement immediately and distance themselves from the Parisian players.

This comes after Chelsea was crowned champions following their 3-0 victory, noting that the match was also charged and witnessed several clashes between players from both teams.
