The Egyptian Football Association announced that the Egyptian Super Cup will be held with the participation of 4 teams: Al-Ahly, the league champion; Zamalek, the Egypt Cup champion; Pyramids, the league and Egypt Cup runner-up; and Ceramica Cleopatra, the Cairo Cup champion.
Al-Ahly will face Ceramica in the tournament, while Zamalek will meet Pyramids.
The tournament will take place in November due to commitments set by the African Football Confederation related to the Champions League and Confederation Cup at the end of October.
Al-Ahly has won the tournament in the last 4 editions, having been crowned in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024, while the last time Zamalek won the Egyptian Super Cup was in 2019.
Al-Ahly will face Ceramica in the tournament, while Zamalek will meet Pyramids.
