Alternative Plan and Comprehensive Schedule for Al-Hilal in Case of Withdrawal from the Saudi Super Cup
If Al-Hilal makes a final decision to withdraw from participating in the Saudi Super Cup 2025, the team management plans to immediately and systematically rearrange the preparatory program for the new season.
According to media reports, the team will return directly to Riyadh after the end of the external camp held in the city of Valsburg, located between Austria and Germany, with players expected to receive a short break to compensate for previous rest periods.
This decision comes due to the pressure of past participations, prompting the coaching staff to grant players a physical and psychological rest period before resuming training at the club's headquarters in Riyadh, in preparation for the second phase of training.
Upon returning, the team will focus on fitness and tactical aspects, in addition to continuing rehabilitation programs for injured players, as part of a balanced plan aimed at achieving full readiness before the start of the season.
Official preparations are scheduled to begin on Monday, July 28, with players undergoing medical examinations until July 30 under the supervision of the medical staff, alongside intensive fitness training in Riyadh.
The team will depart for Valsburg on Thursday, July 31, to start the external camp, which includes two training sessions daily, along with friendly matches against European clubs, including German teams.
The camp is scheduled to conclude on August 14, and if participation in the Super Cup is confirmed, the delegation will head directly to Hong Kong to include the tournament in the team's preparatory program.
