Garnacho Rejects Al-Nassr Offer and Prefers to Stay in Europe
Alejandro Garnacho, a player for Manchester United, rejected an offer from Saudi club Al-Nassr to join them during the current summer transfer window, preferring to remain in Europe.
According to the British newspaper "Telegraph", Al-Nassr had initial discussions with the 21-year-old Argentine player after Manchester United allowed him to consider the offer, as coach Ruben Amorim is eager for his departure this summer.
The newspaper confirmed that Garnacho, despite his great admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo, the current captain of Al-Nassr whom he considers a role model, rejected the idea of playing alongside him again, preferring to stay in Europe.
Garnacho's contract with Manchester United runs until 2028, and he participated in 58 matches last season, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists. He was also close to transferring to Italian club Napoli during the last winter transfer window.
