Real Madrid Makes Decision on Nico Paz Buyback Clause
Sunday 13-07-2025
Reports have indicated that Spanish club Real Madrid has informed Italian club Como that it will not activate the buyback clause for its former player Nico Paz during the current summer transfer window.

The Argentine player had joined Como in the summer of 2024 from Real Madrid, with the royal club retaining the option to reclaim him for 8 million euros.

According to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid has officially informed Como's management that it does not wish to reclaim Paz this summer, meaning the player will remain with the Italian team for another season, with the possibility of being bought back later for 9 million euros.

It is worth noting that Nico Paz excelled last season with Como under the management of Cesc Fabregas, contributing 6 goals and providing 9 assists, and was one of the key players in the team's formation.
