The CEO of Bologna FC, Claudio Fenucci, has categorically denied the news regarding his club's desire to sign Brazilian Wesley, the winger for Saudi club Al-Nassr.

Fenucci's statement was a direct response to Italian reports claiming that Bologna was making official moves to acquire the 20-year-old player during the current summer transfer window.

The Italian official confirmed that Wesley is "completely out of our interests," in a decisive clarification that put an end to the rumors that have recently dominated the media.

Wesley joined Al-Nassr from Brazilian club Corinthians in the summer of 2023, amid hopes for a promising future in the Roshan League.

Despite this, the young player has not been able to secure a regular starting position in the lineup, having only played 22 matches, during which he scored a single goal and provided three assists.
