Al-Hilal Requests Meeting with Osimhen, Player Refuses
Reports revealed today, Saturday, that Saudi Al-Hilal has requested a meeting with Nigerian international Victor Osimhen, the striker from Napoli, in an attempt to persuade him to join the club during the ongoing summer transfer window.
According to Turkish journalist "Yagiz Sabuncuoglu" via his account on the "X" platform, Al-Hilal's request for a meeting with Osimhen came after the club submitted an official offer to Napoli including the payment of the buyout clause amounting to 75 million euros.
Despite this, the report confirmed that the Nigerian striker has again declined to attend the meeting, having previously rejected the idea of transferring to Al-Hilal.
It is worth mentioning that Osimhen played last season on loan with Turkish Galatasaray, where he participated in 41 matches across all competitions, scoring 37 goals and providing 8 assists.
Notably, Galatasaray also attempted to sign him by offering 40 million euros in a lump sum and paying the remainder in installments.
