
Roma Approaches Deal for Richard Rios
The Italian club Roma is intensifying its efforts to bolster the midfield at the request of new coach Gian Piero Gasperini, raising its financial offer to sign Richard Rios from Palmeiras to 30 million euros, alongside ongoing negotiations with French club Lens to acquire Naim Al-Ainawi.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Roma made a bid to Palmeiras valued at 25 million euros fixed, plus 5 million euros in incentives, thus getting closer to the Brazilian club's demands of 30 million euros including bonuses.
At the same time, the officials of the Giallorossi continue their communications with Lens in an attempt to finalize the Al-Ainawi deal, as part of a plan to rebuild the midfield according to Gasperini's tactical vision.
The club is awaiting to finalize one of the two deals first, amidst interest from other clubs in the players, with Roma eager to complete its signings quickly in preparation for the new season.
