Juventus Reaches Agreement with Manchester United for Sancho
The Italian newspaper "La Stampa" revealed that Juventus is close to reaching a final agreement with Manchester United to sign English winger Jadon Sancho during the current summer transfer window.
The newspaper explained that Juventus' management reached an agreement with Manchester United to complete the deal for £17.3 million, after the English club reduced its financial demands from £25 million to offload the player.
The report added that Sancho, who has one year left on his contract with Manchester United until June 2026, was looking for a new opportunity outside Old Trafford, especially after the end of his loan at Chelsea and the London club not activating the purchase option.
It is worth noting that Sancho, who is 25 years old, joined Manchester United in the summer of 2021 from Borussia Dortmund for £70 million, but he has not performed at the expected level, as his market value has dropped to €28 million after contributing to only 15 goals in 42 matches with Chelsea last season.
