Konaté Shocks Liverpool
Spanish journalist José Félix Díaz from Marca reported that French defender Ibrahima Konaté has informed Liverpool's management that he may leave the team this summer.
According to the report, Konaté, who is under contract with the 'Reds' until next summer, feels open to the idea of experiencing a new challenge outside of England, should an offer come from Real Madrid.
The source added that Liverpool's management believes Real Madrid has made priority contacts with the player, which is why they rejected contract renewal twice.
The English club may let Konaté go this summer, rather than allowing him to leave for free at the end of next season, as happened with Trent Alexander-Arnold, who joined Real Madrid for free this summer.
