Sayed Abdel Hafiz Comments on His Future
Sayed Abdel Hafiz, the former director of football at Al Ahly Club, confirmed that he would accept a position at any club if he receives a serious offer.
He said on MBC Masr channel: "Currently, I am trying to work hard in what I do, and I am not planning far ahead. What matters to me in the upcoming period is not the job title but the role I will play, and events in Egypt are very fast-paced."
He added: "One day, there will be a very large institutional work; Al Ahly is characterized by this feature and tries to elevate people even if we disagree, and the great remains great."
He continued: "Of course, I could work at any club if offered to me, but success at Al Ahly and continuity is not easy, and it is not fully present in Africa."
He concluded: "Success with Al Ahly is largely due to technical stability, fan support, administrative matters, media presence, and historical personalities."
