Refereeing of the Paris Saint-Germain vs Chelsea Match in the Club World Cup Final

FIFA has announced the officiating team that will manage the final of the 2025 Club World Cup, which will bring together French club Paris Saint-Germain and English club Chelsea.

The final is scheduled to take place at MetLife Stadium in the United States, at 10 PM next Sunday, concluding a tournament that has seen intense competition.

The FIFA referees committee has assigned Australian referee Alireza Faghani to officiate the match, who previously officiated the opening match between Egyptian club Al Ahly and American club Inter Miami, as well as the Chelsea match against Palmeiras in the quarter-finals.

Assisting him in the final will be Anton Shchetinin and Ashley Beecham as assistant referees, Facundo Tello as the fourth official, along with Gabriel Chade as an additional assistant referee, while the VAR room includes the trio Bastian Dankert, Tatiana Guzmán, and Ivan Bebek.
