The Tunisian Ali Maaloul, former player of Al Ahly, has refused to transfer to Zamalek during the current summer transfer period.
According to press sources, Ali Maaloul is unwilling to join Zamalek or any other team in the Egyptian league, out of respect for his long history with Al Ahly.
The press sources confirmed that the player is waiting for offers from Gulf clubs in the coming days, in order to finalize his destination in the summer transfer market.
It is noteworthy that the management of Al Ahly club decided not to extend Ali Maaloul's contract, which expired at the end of last season, due to his advancing age.
