Sky Sports revealed that German club Bayern Munich is preparing to offer a long-term contract to Colombian star Luis Diaz, winger for English club Liverpool, in a move that could jeopardize his transfer to Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr, which was close to being finalized.

The report stated that Bayern's proposed contract could extend until 2029 or 2030, while the player remains open to leaving Liverpool, provided he receives a suitable financial offer, and he is aware of strong interest from the Bavarian giant.

Despite the serious interest, Sky confirmed that there is currently no agreement between Bayern Munich and Luis Diaz, nor have any official negotiations taken place between the German club and Liverpool so far.

However, with the 'Reds' insisting on receiving an offer ranging from 70 to 80 million euros, all scenarios remain possible, especially given Diaz's desire to leave.

Al-Nassr had shown significant interest in signing Diaz this summer, as part of its efforts to strengthen the team's attack with a global signing, but Bayern Munich's entry into negotiations threatens to derail the deal, or at least complicate it significantly.
