Imam Ashour Seeks to Modify His Contract with Al-Ahly
Media figure Medhat Shalaby revealed that Imam Ashour, the star of Al-Ahly, wishes to modify his contract with the club during the upcoming period.
Shalaby mentioned during his media appearance that the player has an enticing Gulf offer.
He pointed out that Ashour wants to receive a financial compensation equivalent to what duo Ahmed Sayed Zizo and Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet earn, as he believes he deserves to be among the highest-paid players contractually.
He added that Ashour is not seeking to create a crisis within the team, but at the same time, he is using external offers as a legitimate pressure tactic to improve his terms, especially after his remarkable performance and securing his place in the starting lineup.
