Liverpool FC announced on its official website that it will hold commemorative events for its late player Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva during its friendly match against Preston North End, following the tragic accident that claimed their lives in Spain.

Before the match, the anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone" will be played, and a wreath will be placed alongside Liverpool fans. There will also be a minute of silence, and players will wear black armbands in mourning for them.

The death of Jota and his brother was due to a tire explosion in their car accident, which caused a fire, leading to widespread sorrow in the sports community.

Liverpool is preparing to face Crystal Palace in the Charity Shield on August 10, as part of its preparations for the new season.
