The Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" revealed that Juventus management has begun concrete steps to renew the contract of their young Turkish star Kenan Yildiz, following Barcelona and Bayern Munich entering the race to sign him recently.

According to the newspaper, Juventus officials are scheduled to meet with the player's representatives next week to discuss extending his current contract, which expires in 2029, as part of the club's efforts to secure the continuity of one of its most prominent rising stars.

It was clarified that Yildiz, who is 20 years old, caught attention during the FIFA Club World Cup competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists in 4 matches, and has become a key player for coach Igor Tudor.

Reports have linked the Turkish international with several clubs, most notably Barcelona, which is considering making a swap offer involving their defender Ronald Araújo, along with Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

However, Juventus management has made its position clear, stating that they are not considering selling the player and are focusing on signing a new contract that ensures his continued presence with the team.
