Despite Real Madrid's elimination from the semi-finals of the Club World Cup, club president Florentino Perez has reinforced the strong relationship between Real Madrid and the FIFA (International Football Federation) during his time in the United States.

The Spanish newspaper "Marca" reported that Perez has agreed with FIFA President Gianni Infantino to host the 2030 World Cup final at the "Santiago Bernabéu" stadium, making it one of the few stadiums in history to host two World Cup finals, alongside Maracanã and Azteca.

The newspaper warned that Morocco has begun to move quickly, as FIFA is preparing to open an official office in the capital Rabat after the summer, which could give the Moroccan side an organizational advantage. In contrast, Spain is still lagging behind in organizational preparations, which could pose a challenge despite securing the final.

The 2030 World Cup is set to be held in Morocco, Portugal, and Spain, with three celebratory matches to commemorate the centenary of the tournament taking place in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay (one match in each country).
