The German club Bayern Munich has entered into official negotiations with English club Liverpool to acquire Colombian winger Luis Diaz during the ongoing summer transfer window, as the Bavarian club seeks to strengthen its attack.

The German newspaper "Bild" reported that Bayern Munich has made an initial offer of 52 million euros for Diaz's services, but this offer is significantly lower than Liverpool's financial demands, which amount to 80 million euros.

Meanwhile, Spanish radio station "Cadena Ser" indicated that there is a secret agreement between Diaz and Liverpool that allows the player to leave if a final financial agreement is reached among all parties.

Diaz, who joined Liverpool in January 2022 and shone in the Reds' jersey, is one of Bayern Munich's main targets this summer to bolster their front line ahead of the new season.
