Global media reports revealed today, Thursday, that Croatian star Luka Modric has officially signed contracts to join Italian club Milan in a free transfer during the current summer transfer window.

Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano reported via his official account on the social media platform X that Modric has signed a contract with the Rossoneri for one year, extending until June 2026.

Modric is 39 years old and joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2012 from Tottenham for about 35 million euros, crafting a historic career with the royal club that lasted until the summer of 2025.

The Croatian star participated in six matches with Real Madrid in the Club World Cup, totaling 120 minutes of play, without scoring or assisting any goals.

His contract with Milan is valued between 2.5 and 3 million euros only, in a move that allows him to continue his career and get closer to achieving his international dream.
