The German coach Hans Flick returns today to the city of Barcelona, after the end of his vacation, in preparation for the start of the Catalan team's training on Sunday, July 13, in readiness for the new season.

According to the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Flick's first decision upon his return will be to meet with German goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen, to inform him directly that he does not have a place in the starting lineup in light of the presence of Joan Garcia and Wojciech Szczęsny.

Flick will also speak with goalkeeper Iñaki Peña, who will not be part of the coach's plans for the upcoming season, and thus he will have to leave.

It is also planned that Flick will discuss with the sports director Deco the developments in the transfer market, and the team's situation regarding potential signings and players likely to leave, as part of the serious preparations for the upcoming season under new leadership.
