Is Ali Maaloul moving to Zamalek?
Media figure Medhat Shalaby revealed Ali Maaloul's stance on joining Zamalek this summer.
Shalaby said in statements during his program on MBC Masr 2: "There have been rumors that Zamalek wants to sign Ali Maaloul."
He added: "The news I received is that Ali Maaloul is refusing to join Zamalek, but he wants to continue playing and is not thinking about retirement. I also don't believe that Zamalek and John Edward are seriously interested in signing Maaloul."
Maaloul left Al Ahly after the last season following the end of his contract with the club.
