Hamad Al-Muntashari, the star of Saudi Ittihad, praised Simone Inzaghi, the coach of Al-Hilal, after the impressive levels shown by the team in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Inzaghi took over coaching Al-Hilal a month ago and during this period, the team achieved good results in the FIFA Club World Cup, although their journey ended in the quarter-finals.
Al-Muntashari stated in television remarks: "Inzaghi is a great coach whose presence will reflect positively on the team, and it will also increase the followers of the Saudi league."
He added: "Al-Hilal benefited from the FIFA Club World Cup, as it serves as a preparation period for the new season, even better than going through a training camp."
He continued: "The tournament was an opportunity for Inzaghi to get to know the team's players better, and he has significantly identified both the negatives and positives, showing patience in changing the style of play."
