The German star Jamal Musiala, a player for Bayern Munich, appeared in a short video to thank everyone who sympathized with him and inquired about his well-being.
This was after the injury he sustained during a clash with Gianluigi Donnarumma, the goalkeeper of Paris Saint-Germain, during their teams' match in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup.
Musiala stated: "Thank you all for this support, there is no one we should blame, injuries like this happen often."
Bayern Munich had previously announced that Musiala underwent a successful surgery, after which he will be sidelined for a long period.
