Ali Abdul Jabbar praises his players after the victory over Najaf in the Cup Championship
Said Air Force Club coach Ali Abdul Jabbar in media statements following the victory over Najaf with a score of 3-1:
“We knew very well the difficulty of the match, Najaf is a respectable team with good players, but we approached the game with high concentration and tactical intelligence, and we achieved what we wanted.”
He continued: “The players performed excellently and adhered to the plan, and we succeeded in exploiting the opportunities well, which is what we lacked in some league matches.”
He added: “We are now in the semifinals, and the road to the title requires double effort, we will face Duhok, which is an organized and strong team, but we have confidence in our players.”
He concluded his remarks by saying: “Our goal is to win the Iraq Cup title, and we will work with all we have to achieve that and make the Falcons' fans happy.”
It is worth mentioning that the Air Force will face Duhok in the semifinals, in a highly anticipated match whose date will be determined later by the competitions committee.
