Bayern Munich Enters Race to Sign Rodrigo
Tuesday 08-07-2025
The German club Bayern Munich has entered the competition to sign Brazilian star Rodrigo, a player for Spanish team Real Madrid, during the summer transfer window of 2025.

Real Madrid and coach Xabi Alonso had previously agreed to let the 24-year-old player leave after the conclusion of the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.

Several major European clubs, including Arsenal, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain, have shown interest in signing Rodrigo ahead of the 2025/2026 football season, in addition to Bayern Munich, which is preparing to make an attractive official offer.

The Spanish program "El Chiringuito" reported that Bayern Munich's management is eager to sign the player to compensate for offensive absences following the injury of Jamal Musiala and the departure of Leroy Sané this summer, ahead of the new season.

It is expected that Real Madrid will reject any offer below 80 million euros for Rodrigo's transfer during the summer transfer window, noting that the player's contract extends until the summer of 2028.

On the sporting side, Rodrigo participated in 30 matches with Real Madrid in La Liga during the 2024/2025 season, successfully scoring 6 goals and assisting 5 others.
